Genesis Retreat
Our Genesis Retreat is a one-day experience held right here at the Catholic Center specifically for freshman and transfer undergraduate students. It’s a chance for incoming SMU students to form friendships and get to know our Catholic community on campus.
You’ll meet new people, dive into small group conversations, and hear talks that help prepare your heart for the year ahead. This is one of the best ways to get connected at The C and explore what God might have in store for you in college.

Mustang Awakening
Mustang Awakening is a student-led retreat where you have the chance to step back from the stresses of college life, connect with God, and build meaningful friendships. Open to all SMU undergraduates, this weekend is packed with talks, activities, and opportunities to grow deeper in faith.
Mustang Awakening 18 - Fall 2025: Join us for our biggest retreat of the year! We are heading to the Pines Catholic Camp in Big Sandy, TX on November 14th-16th.

Ranch Retreat
Our annual Ranch Retreat is a chance to get away, relax in God’s beautiful creation, and rest your soul. It’s a weekend to grow in faith, build real friendships, and enjoy good company in the peace of the outdoors.

Senior Retreat
For our seniors whose time at SMU is coming to a close, we invite you to join us for Senior Retreat. It’s a chance to slow down, spend time with the Lord, and reflect on all He’s done in your life as you look ahead to what’s next.
We’ll share a few short talks, spend time in prayer, and relax together by the lake.
