90 Years of History in Dallas

Catholic Campus Ministry at SMU was established in 1932. SMU was 21 years old, and the campus was in the midst of its transformation from an overgrown prairie to a thriving university. The closest Catholic parish, Holy Trinity Catholic Church, was a good distance from the campus, and a group of Catholics ultimately founded the ministry to better serve the needs of Catholic students, faculty, and staff.

On Saturday, April 23, 2022, the Catholic Campus Ministry at SMU celebrated its 90th Anniversary. The evening brought together friends old and new to the SMU campus to reconnect and raise funds for the ministry that helps form Servant Leaders.
