Saturday Service

Saturday Service

Once a month, SMU students gather on a Saturday to serve the community in a direct, short-term way.  Service opportunities vary from working on a construction site with Habitat for Humanity, serving lunch at a local soup kitchen, working at the local Society of St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, visiting the elderly at a nursing home, etc.  Activities change monthly and provide the perfect opportunity for one-time, limited commitment service. It is also a great way to meet other students who are passionate about service, and a way for you to think about getting more involved!

Soccer Clinic 2013

Join us each Spring for a day of soccer, fitness, and fun with SMU Catholic and the SMU Men’s Soccer team! Refugee kids from Vickery Meadow and SMU Catholic families and friends (there will be both refugee children and Park Cities kids participating– bringing communities together!) will learn and develop fundamental soccer skills. The event is open to girls and boys ages 7 to 16, and SMU students are encouraged to volunteer to help run the clinic

Thank you for a successful Soccer Clinic 2012! More information about the 5th Annual SMU Catholic Soccer Clinic to come in Spring 2013.
