Heeding the call of the Old Testament prophets to our modern day pontiffs, SMU Catholic is committed to service and social justice.  Working to educate and empower students to live the call to justice, we are actively engaged on campus and in the surrounding community.  SMU Catholic offers a wide variety of opportunities grounded in the social teachings of the Catholic Church, including an after-school tutoring program, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Saturday service days and an Urban Plunge experience over fall break.  We also offer many opportunities to serve at mass or in a liturgical or catechetical setting.
