The Awakening Retreat
SMU Catholic’s annual student-led retreat, Awakening provides students with a unique and unforgettable experience of God, self and community. Asked to leave agendas and expectations at the door, retreat participants are guided by their peers into an authentic experience of faith and what it means to be a child of God. The weekend is filled with fun and laughter, genuine story sharing and conversation, music, liturgy and prayer as well as an abundance of opportunities to grow in relationship with God, self and others. It is an experience that cannot be missed!
